If you check the members who are looking to buy your games and make sure they are verified this will make your sell the safest as possible.
7.  What can I offer for trade?

» If a user has a video game you want you can offer, another video game or games. (The shipper should use a postage with tracking ability and insurance. Just to protect the shipper. ) In the future we hope to have postage available for purchase on our site, and package tracking will also be built into the site.
8.  How should I ship my item?

» Well one option is to use Paypal and the USPS, which is the easiest option. We have provided a link in the upper right corner for the USPS to print shipping labels from your computer. You should have bubble mailers, shipping tape, and a scale to weigh your package. Or of course you could use Fedex, DHL, UPS, or take it to your local post office. These options require you to go to a store to ship these items unless you have an account.
9.  What's my game trade in value?

» Our site allows the owner of the video game to set there own trade in value. This is much better than taking it back to retailers who take in trades, because they only pay you a percentage of what the game is really worth, since they in turn put it back on the shelf for sale.

» Trading games is a slight risk. GTW collects information from all of our registered users. When you accept a trade, we in turn give you the information needed to complete the trade including an address, phone number, and email address. Or look for verified members to trade with, a verified member is one who GTW has already confirmed the address and contact information of the user. We also recommend using a shipper that allows package tracking, to protect both parties. We strive to build a strong game trading community and will help out users when there is a problem.

Do I have any obligations?

Your obligations are set out in the site's Terms and Conditions which you have read as part of your registration.

In brief, the items offered must be legal and non-offensive to even a small number of people, and must be your property to offer.

You have no obligation to complete a trade or sale unless both you and another party have confirmed you want to go ahead with the deal, at which point you both MUST proceed. Otherwise, you can withdraw from a deal at any time up to this point.
15.  What about package tracking?

» Is there a place on GTW to track packages?
Yes if you navigate to the site map located in the bottom right menu. There is a link titled Track Shipment. We have provided links to USPS, UPS, Fedex, and DHL.
16.  Why should I use this site?

» I know many gamers who have bought the latest games, beat them in a week, and then returned them to the store. When they return the games they just bought for $60.00, for $15.00 now thats a rip off! We created this site for gamers to join together, and create a world where they could safely trade games with each other taking those retailers out of the equation. Basically we cut out the middle man, you set the price of your game, you decide what you want to trade for. "We put you in control of your trades." This site is useful for swapping stuff you don't want, or simply sell it to someone who does want it!

You are not committed to anything until both you and a second party (ie the other swapper/buyer) agree to proceed with the deal - you can withdraw an item at any time right up to this point without obligation or commitment.
